I'm running for re-election for Canyons School Board #5 because I'm passionate about recognizing educators as professionals with valuable skills and knowledge in partnership with parents in our students' education.

My Experience:
- I'm a retired educator and school leader with 41 years of experience in the classroom
- I was Teacher of the Year for Willow Canyon Elementary in 2021
- I have served for 4 years as your District 5 representative
- I provide balance in conversations and decisions that directly impact our students and families
- I provide real-world insight on the impact of decisions affecting students' needs in the classroom

- Member of Canyons School Board since 2023
- Member of Utah Retirement System State Committee since 2026
- Member of the Utah School Board Association of Directors since 2023
- Vice President of Canyons Education Association from 2019 to 2022
- Canyons Teacher Evaluation Committee member from 2016 to 2020
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education from Utah State University
- Masters Degree in Education from Westminster College
- Endorsements in Reading, Math, and English as a Second Language (ESL)
